"SIMPLIFYING THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF THE GAME"
Baseball, it can be argued, is the most difficult game there is to play. It requires acute physical skills in batting and fielding, and pinpoint accuracy is required when throwing and pitching. These challenges are accentuated in younger players. The number of defensive, base running and batting situations can be overwhelming. It is a tremendous challenge for youth league coaches facing the task of preparing their teams and developing their players.
So where do you start as a coach? How do you structure your practices? What do you teach first...team play or individual skills? How do you best teach batting and pitching skills? Which aspects of the game should be given higher priority and which aspects can you spend less time on and still be successful?
The Philosophy of Baseball Positive is that players will develop faster, have greater success and enjoy the game more when information and instruction is as concise and to the point as possible. Baseball Positive provides guidance for coaches (and parents) on practice design, content and execution as well as simple techniques in teaching the game. Baseball Positive’s teaching systems deliver clear, simple information in a format that is easy for coaches and players to grasp and follow....please click on the Feedback Tab to read Baseball Positive's success stories.
